The Unarchiverhome Journey
Back in 2019, I was sitting in a cramped Vancouver office, debugging CSS for the hundredth time that week. The frustration wasn't just mine – every developer I knew was struggling with the same issues. Modern web development had become this maze of frameworks, tools, and conflicting best practices.
That's when the idea hit me. What if we could create something different? Not just another development tool, but a complete platform that actually made sense. So I packed up, moved to Hong Kong's beautiful tech scene, and started building what would become Unarchiverhome.
Our name comes from combining "Vortex" and "Arena" – representing the swirling complexity of modern development and the collaborative space where solutions emerge. It's a bit nerdy, but it captures exactly what we're about.
The early days were intense. Just me, a secondhand desk, and way too much coffee. But by 2020, we had our first breakthrough – a CSS framework that developers actually enjoyed using. Word spread through GitHub, tech meetups, and those late-night coding sessions we all know too well.
